I was the photographer at the wedding of a friend recently. Photography is a blessing, an incredible experience, and a curse, all at the same time. In this case because I failed miserably. I actually got my days off a bit ago. The night before the desert museum, we had dinner at a Japanese place. They had grills set right into the table, and the chef cooked your meal right in front of you! ( It was awesome! )

There is a king bird that every year builds a nest in our rain gutter. I don't know why it hasn't been blown away. But for a month or three, it (or the pair sometimes) guards the nest (and hatchlings when they come) like crazy, hovering in the air and chirping indignantly at anyone who comes within 100 feet or so.
